Two models, the Crow Bar and the CB (Chris Brown) Bar, are completely new for 2018. They are intended as a swap-out stock replacement for Ski-Doo REV Gen4 850 and Polaris AXYS PRO-RMK bars. These bars are 7/8″ diameter throughout, so they don’t require an oversized riser unlike the other CFR handlebars in the lineup.

The annual film showcases the latest and greatest flicks from the sledding and snow bike industries. Athletes and filmmakers will be on hand and, as always, there will be a TON of prizes to be won.
Traditional films can be hard to get to the masses. I would rather have many people see the work I put so much time into than just a few because the rewarding part is making someone feel an emotion watching a video and getting them excited for the season or making them want to ride. With how the Internet is now, there are so many great platforms to showcase the webisodes, and “White Gold” will be free to watch on YouTube.
There are a variety of different styles of TOBE jackets available for 2018. Between the uninsulated jackets, the insulated jackets and the selection of mono suits available, we were starting to get a little confused! So when Greg from TOBE stopped by our office, we asked him to stand in front of the camera to help clarify the lineup for us and our readers.
Trax Uprising doesn’t exist for the sake of a film dedicated to snow bike riders. It’s about so much more than that. It’s a film about sharing a love for riding snow bikes and growing the sport. The film features a variety of top athletes from many different places, including mountainous Western Canada, USA, Quebec and Eastern Canada, and even as far away as Russia.
Entries for both video and photo were narrowed down to the top five selections in each category. These were then evaluated by the panel of judges in 22 categories which measure impact, creativity, subject matter, storytelling, wow! factor, marketability, style and merit/skill.
The production value of this year’s 2017 snow bike and sled films is catching up with the riding, which has been pushing the limits of our sport on-screen for years. We have young guns pushing their ability to the brink. There are veterans finding new places to explore and new ways to get there. And we’re seeing more variety of terrain, riding styles and locations than ever before.
