Area 59?

Quartz Creek, played out, boring, and not big enough with over 100 people there right?  WRONG!  Well not in the spring anyway…

Went over 53 yesterday with a few other sledshot boyz and that was only the beginning. 

BEFORE I GET TOO FAR IT IS HELI TERRAIN, BUT THEIR SEASON IS NOW OVER!

Ok with that being said, 54 was a cool bowl, and so were 56, 57, and 58, but with one hectic side hill to ‘no turn back’ tree’d climb, to boulder dodging alpine accent, we were there.  The summit of Area 59, looking down on to highway # 1.  The edge of what is legal, the Glacier National Park boundary.  What a trip!  With no mechanicals, no injury, no setbacks, we had made it to the edge of the Purcell Mountain Range.  Looking directly across the valley towards the Selkirks through Beaver Valley, it was a sight only scene by few people.  

I only wish I had a camera to show you… hahaha NEXT TIME!!!!!
