Breaking SNOW news

I thought this was August?  I might be wrong but isn’t Global Warming suppose to make the temperatures warmer?  It was below 0 degrees here in Golden, BC this morning at 8000 vertical feet.  There was a few fresh cm’s / over an inch of that white stuff laying a nice little blanket of snow over the mountain tops.  I know it isn’t enough to sled on, or even close to it, but I am getting excited!!!!!
