Registration Open for LFG Racing

Registration is now open for LFG Racing Series. As of Nov 2, the races are approximately 50% sold out.  

After seven years of successful and growing events in Golden, the LFG Racing Society, the team behind the Riley Suhan Backcountry Snowmobile Race, is expanding the event into a series, bringing greater momentum to backcountry racing in British Columbia. As interest in the sport grows, some of snowmobiling’s biggest brands are stepping up to show their support.

Ski-Doo is one of those brands. For the first time in 2027, Ski Doo is entering the series as title sponsor.   Riders who use the brand know #thatskidoofeeling, and past winners of the Riley Suhan Backcountry Race know it very well: to date, the fastest snowmobile riders at every event have been on a Ski-Doo.

The signature backcountry course combines technical tree riding, a hill climb, and a snowcross-style section that develops deep bomb-hole whoops as the day goes on. It is a format that showcases the power, maneuverability, and suspension of Ski-Doo’s mountain sleds.

“The community and family feeling is a really big part of our events. Having been a Ski-Doo athlete for most of my career, it is really special to welcome them on board as the series title sponsor,” said Riley Suhan, Founding Board Director, LFG Racing Society.
