Unlock the Robson Valley: The Ultimate BC Sled Pass
There’s big news out of the Robson Valley this season and it’s the kind of news that riders have been waiting for. For the first time ever, snowmobilers can now explore both Valemount and McBride on a single season pass.
Meet the Robson Valley Pass (RVP): a brand-new collaboration between the Valemount & Area Recreation Development Association (VARDA) and the McBride Big Country Snowmobile Association (MBCSA). This joint pass brings together two of BC’s most iconic mountain sledding destinations under one banner, offering seamless access to the massive terrain of both clubs.
The Robson Valley has long been a mecca for sledders, with vast alpine terrain, deep snow, and vibrant riding communities in both Valemount and McBride. Until now, riders needed separate passes for each area.
The new Robson Valley Pass changes that, giving riders unlimited access to both VARDA and McBride riding areas all season long. Whether you’re chasing powder in Allan Creek or carving alpine bowls in Lucille, you can do it all without switching memberships.
The Robson Valley Pass represents more than just a new product. It’s a shared vision between two passionate clubs working to make sledding in the Robson Valley more accessible and unified. As VARDA puts it, this initiative is “cooperation at its finest.”

The Robson Valley Pass deadline is November 15th so make sure to grab yours before then. It can be purchased through VARDA’s website here: https://ridevalemount.com/member-registration/
Your Robson Valley Pass includes membership in both clubs: VARDA and SledMcBride meaning you’ll have full rights, access, and perks with each.
Here’s the breakdown for the 2025 season:
- RVP Season Pass (includes membership to both clubs): $425
- RVP Secondary Adult Family Member: $375
- RVP Additional Family Member (Under 18): $300
- RVP Senior/Veteran: $300 (Seniors 65+ and veterans must provide proof of service)
Prefer to stick to one zone? Traditional single-area season passes are still available for either Valemount or McBride through their respective websites.
