Alpine Sled Style: The Contest Driving the Next Wave of Sled Progression

Every sport reaches a moment when it transforms. When progression, creativity, and community collide to create something entirely new. For mountain snowmobiling, that moment is Alpine Sled Style.

More than a competition, Alpine Sled Style is a showcase of elite backcountry riding, thoughtful cinematography, and the unique personalities shaping the future of the sport. It’s where technical ability meets creative expression, and where riders push themselves, and snowmobiling, to new heights.

Created with a clear objective: to elevate mountain snowmobiling into a globally recognized, artistically driven, athlete-focused discipline.

The event merges riding mastery with film production, giving athletes a platform to tell their story through the terrain they choose, the lines they ride, and the way they bring those moments to life on camera. It unites riders, fans, and industry partners around a shared vision of progression and community-building.

“If something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well.” This principle defines the work of Andrew Munster. A lifelong inventor with an endless appetite for innovation, Andrew grew up in the rugged alpine environment of Whistler, BC, where creativity and challenge naturally intersect.

Driven by Andrew and co-founder Jake Quinn, Alpine Sled Style introduced something snowmobiling had never seen before: a competition where riders are judged not just on performance, but on line choice, technical execution, terrain interpretation, creativity, and cinematic storytelling.

Each rider’s submission is a reflection of who they are: an athlete, an artist, and a backcountry specialist.

Since its creation, Alpine Sled Style has quickly developed into a major event recognized across the mountain riding community. Each season has added depth, talent, and global engagement.
