Arctic Cat Re-Opens Sales on 2021 Snowmobile Models
Arctic Cat has announced a second opportunity for customers to pre-order a 2021 model year snowmobile. The company is calling it the Arctic Summer sales event, which will run from August 17 to August 28, 2020.
During the sales period, select snowmobile models will be available for pre-0rder at below MSRP in the United States, including: ZR 200, BLAST models, M 6000 ALPHA ONE, M 8000 Hardcore ALPHA ONE, Norseman X 8000 and Riot models in limited colours.
Only the ZR 200 will be available for pre-order in Canada. That more 2021 models are not being made available in Canada during this sales event is most likely due to the BRP patent infringement decision that was made in Canadian courts this spring, which prevents the sale in Canada of Arctic Cat models found to have infringed on the patent. At the time of publication, Arctic Cat has not yet publicly commented on the impact of the decision on sales of its model year 2021 snowmobiles in Canada.
