Behind the Scenes: Polaris 2017 Reveal

Well, the 2017 Polaris Snowmobile reveal has come and gone. If mountain riders were expecting huge changes for 2017 on the heels of last year, then they were disappointed. But those riders need to ask themselves, ‘If it ain’t broke, why fix it?’
The 2016 Pro-RMK Axys models were arguably top of the class in the mountain segment, and the addition of a longer track to compete with Ski-Doo’s 174″ T3 was just about all that was required to stay competitive, and that’s just what Polaris revealed last night.
Polaris dealers and industry people turned out en mass to check out the offerings at the 2017 Polaris reveal.
Bold New Graphics! And a pretty unique wrap on this one.
The 2017 Polaris Pro-RMK will be available in a 174″ track model.
Polaris showed off the guts of its Liberty 800cc powerplant.
Polaris fans probably wished for more, but let’s not forget that they did get a major overhaul of their favourite brand of mountain sled in 2016, and with a year of solid consumer use they’ve got to be happy with the now tried, tested and true Polaris Axys product.
