BoonDocker Releases Sidekick Pump Gas Ski-Doo 850 Turbo Kit
Historically, turbo induction upgrade kits have not achieved mainstream adoption for a number of reasons. 1) They were expensive and are difficult to install, 2) they demanded specialized knowledge to be able to tune and maintain, 3) they were unreliable and 4) they required expensive race and/or aviation fuel to run, which was prohibitive for many riders. BoonDocker has recognized this, and created the Sidekick kit which was developed specifically to address all of these concerns. The Sidekick kit has been very well received across several different platforms, and now BoonDocker has announced that the much anticipated Ski-Doo 850 Turbo Sidekick pump gas kit is now available to consumers.
BoonDocker has also revealed that the Sidekick turbo kit is available for owners of MY2018 Arctic Cat mountain sleds.

BoonDocker Releases Sidekick Pump Gas Ski-Doo 850 Turbo
(Idaho Falls, ID) October 6th, 2017 – The Boondocker 850 Ski-Doo Sidekick is here! Boondocker, LLC is excited to announce the release of their highly anticipated turbo kit, now available for the Ski-Doo 850 platform. Orders for this well-engineered and tested kit will begin on Monday, October 6th, 2017, with shipment of the production kits leaving their Idaho Falls facility before December 15th.
Some of first demo kits have already been installed by select dealers and high-profile athletes. These will be on display at the Denver, Edmonton, Salt Lake City, Boise, Vernon, and Saskatoon snow shows, so consumers can see the fit and finish, and feel confident in the new design.
Boondocker Factory Acceptance Testing will be a collaborative effort by the Boondocker validation team including Bret Rasmussen, who will have a final say on performance and fun-factor. Production manufacturing of the Ski-Doo 850 turbo kits is scheduled to start mid-November. Final validation of tuning and drivability will take place on MY18 sleds, in real-winter, deep-snow conditions, and is scheduled for completion the first week in December. This limited build of Boondocker validated turbo kits will ship on or before December 15th.
