BRP Donates $20K to For McMurray Relief
It’s hard to fault companies hopping on the “Do Good” train, so welcome aboard, BRP!
In partnership and “solidarity” with Fort McMurray BRP Dealer, Raven Motorsports, BRP is providing a $20K donation to the Wood Buffalo Community Food Bank. This supplements Raven Motorsports own contribution of $10K.
The May fire in Fort McMurray destroyed approximately 2400 buildings and forced the evacuation of 80,000 residents. As residents have been moving back to Fort McMurray since early June, the Wood Buffalo Community has seen 5x the demand for its services.
Says BRP’s VP, Bernard Guy, “we have been in regular contact with our local dealer and we understand the crying need is in re-entry efforts. BRP is committed to supporting its local communities.”
