What if this was the last winter you were ever going to have?
You don’t know that it isn’t. Not to sound cheesy, but no one can predict the future and tomorrow is not a given. For all you know, you’ve already sledded the last of your days.
People celebrate their birthday but silently live past their deathday every year. The clock is ticking and no one knows when the bell will toll for them. When the snow flakes fly, the sense of urgency that we live with needs to be re-examined.
So get up a half hour earlier. Stay out a half hour later. Small personal goals shouldn’t be put off.
Milk every last moment you have on this planet.
