First snow fall…

After the videos are watched, the snow usually dwindles to wet grass, and probably the need for a car wash from dirty streets.  A few weeks tend to fly by with some “getting stoked” stories about last winter, or even “back in the day” stories that are the annual must tell ritual.  You might, if you are lucky, get to attend a Snow Show, to check out the new machines for this season, which some how, always seem to be WAY better then the year before (seemingly impossible…. again).  After a few beverages, and a few day hangover, the stoke resides and you return to your daily ritual until you get your real “First Dump”.
Well today was the day here in Golden, where we received our “First Dump”.  And on a scale of 1-10, I’d have to say the Stoke-O-Meter reached a very solid 9.5!
With premature plans to sled this weekend and take photos, and start the season off with a bang, that we can only hope doesn’t come from one of our sleds smashing a rock!
Game on ya’ll.  Let winter 09/10 begin!
Game on!!
I’ll bring you photos and video of “Day 1” upon completion!
