New Website
We’re stoked to announce the launch of our new website.
After feedback from our users, and tracking what pages people visit we’ve got rid of some stuff, and made other parts of the site more user-friendly.
What’s Out?
Gone are the forums. Our visitors have always been more interested in our news items and tech tips, than asking questions in our forums, so we’re leaving that to some of the other sites out there.
Gone are the user logins. We figured that there were no benefits stopping people getting access to any parts of the site, so we have scrapped the user logins. If you want to comment on a news story, post a photo or video – please go ahead – we love hearing your thoughts and comments!
What’s In?
As you can tell, the news articles and tech tips have become the most important part of the site. Each new article appears in the block of images at the top of the Home page.
Tech Tips and Riding Tips are now accessed via their own menu items in the main menu.
The site is “responsive”. What does this mean? It means that whether you’re looking on your pimp 30″ screen in the office, on your tablet on the couch at home, or on your smartphone as you travel to the mountains this winter, the site still looks awesome – whatever device you’re using.
What do you think? Please let us know what you love or hate about the new site by commenting on this article.
If you like what you see, please consider making a donation to help us keep sledshot.com alive. And also support our sponsors – without them we couldn’t exist.
See you on the snow!!
