Teth-Air ‘NEW’
I’ve seen a lot of cool sled ideas over the past couple of years being a part of Sledshot.com, but I think this one has got to be near the top of the list. It makes so much sense! We all hate tether cords because they are restricting, unpredictable, they can rip belt loops off, and even those “tether cord hooks” found on many high-end garment on the market today. Teth-Air can also be used as an anti-theft device, which is great for piece of mind on those busy days at your local zone when you head in the cabin for lunch!
The CT-10 Cordless Teth-Air is a wireless tether system providing a modern alternative to the cord type kill switch. It is easily installed on all brands of snowmobiles that utilize electronic ignition.
I think it is an amazing idea for those turbo guys out there who are concerned with an up-side-down four stroke with the throttle pinned on…
The CT-10 can be set to read 1-6 tags which allows for all in your group to move from machine to machine or if only 1 tag is registered, there is no chance that your machine will inadvertently be kept running when passing another person wearing a tag.
It requires an electrical power source from the snowmobile, and is compatible with battery or non-battery electrical systems. The 5 AMP load output relay provides the option for normally open and normally closed (parallel or series) connections to your existing kill switch wiring. The installation does not disable your existing kill switch, ignition key, D.E.S.S. system or corded tether!
