November Riding Videos
I’ve been on snow a few times this year and have had some ups and downs… lets face it… IT’S NOVEMBER!!
Starting off a few weeks back I used my sled to access the alpine in Quartz Creek (Golden, BC) to go ski touring. For those of you who don’t know it is like using glorified cross country skies to gain elevation and then turn them into down hill skis to come back down. Needless to say I didn’t need to change them over to DH skis as there was almost NO snow in the alpine. I gave it another week and another small storm cycle before heading deeper into the mountains in search of the “DEEPNESS”. This time I thought we had found it as we gained elevation the snow got deeper until we hit the tipping point at around 6500′. Then the snow started getting skinnier… YIKES. It happened again. Skunked for the second time, but managed to get some footage. See attached video.
Then last but not least I went out this past weekend and found some goods. Still a bit skinny, but totally workable. There is no question it is still November, but oh what a sweet November it is! I didn’t get much footage this day (just one clip), but I did have some fun!!
Thanks for watching guys!!
Love your feed back and encouragement!!
