For those of you who are regular visitors to sledshot.com, and for those who aren’t, you’ll know that the crew here at sledshot rave about the terrain and riding oppertunities at Chatter Creek.
Through the winter season, Chatter Creek is a cat skiing operation, and there is an unwritten agreement with the local riders and Golden Snowmobile Club, that the terrain will be left for their cat skiing guests. There’s no limit to the terrain options in Golden, and it’s generally accepted that it’s worth saving the joys of sledding at Chatter for when they open their lodge to sledding guests when their cat skiing guests pack up for the season.
In 2010, Chatter is opening the doors for sledders from April 7 to April 25. Regular rate is $165 per person per night for all nights except Friday and Saturday when the rate is $190. This includes accommodation at one of their stunning log lodges, three great meals, plus unlimited access to their 238 sq km of AWESOME terrain!
The sledshot crew are heading in to Chatter and staying there on April 21 and 22. With 36 beds available on any given night, there’s plenty of space for a big crew….. but if you would like to come and join us for some of the season’s best sledding – book early – spaces fill up fast.
